Oh No She Didn’t!

Oh Yes She Did!

It is one of those things…that right of passage that every child will do at least once in their life.

Got scissors, have hair!

Little Miss Daisy did it.

I saw little bits of hair when walking through the house.

My only reaction was, “Hmmmm” and then picked it up to put in the trash.

And it wasn’t until I was throwing it away did I see a large wad of hair in the trash.

She cut her hair on both sides of her pretty little head!

And her being only 5yo, I can tell you that each little snip of hair was in no way evenly cut :O

The left side of her head was four varying lengths and the right was about two different lengths.

So off to the kiddie saloon we went to get a haircut.

The lady went “Hmm” as she turned my baby’s head this way and that.

To even out her hair, the back had to be cut all the way to the shoulders. ย (Little Miss Daisy did have her hair very long to her back pre-haircut.)

The sides of her head were cut rounded and eased into a nice blunt cut in the back.

Does anyone remember Dorothy Hamill’s haircut from the 70s…and how every little girl wanted her hair to be just like that?

The 70s haircuts are back in style now anyway, LOL!

Little did Daisy know that there would be no more of her favorite hairstyles to be worn at school the next day!

No more single braid ponytails, Ballet Princess hairbuns, or ponytail lift-ups.

To appease her the next morning when getting ready for school…

She had four high ponytails on her cute little head, MashaAllah.

She reminds me now of a cute little Pekingese puppy I saw once, LOL, all dolled up with little satin ribbons on it’s head.

She is even more cuter now though! ๐Ÿ™‚
