I write to you from my little sandcastle
here

I am an American Muslimah originally from San Antonio, Texas. I am married to an Emirati and a mother to 4 children.
I was whisked off from deep in the heart of Texas and I currently live in a sandcastle in the desert in a faraway land filled with rippling sand dunes 
camels
date trees 
windtowers 
islands made into palm trees 
a map of the world built in the sea 
and home to the world’s tallest building 
The UAE is my home now.
I have fallen in love with the people
and culture 
of this beautiful country. I have been living continuously in the UAE now for 10+ years. I didn’t think that I could ever do it because in the beginning I was soooo homesick. It took a couple of years to get over the homesickness and now I am satisfied living here. Alhamdulilah.

How old are the kiddies? Boys? Girls? My girls are begging to go to Sky Dubai…I’ll google it now to see how affordable it is. Maybe we’ll meet insha’Allah.
I have 4 girls and one boy.
I have never been to Ski Dubai. The traffic puts me off. It would take me about 2hours just to get there and knowing me, I would probably get lost!
It would be nice to meet, InshaAllah.
Salaam sis just checking out your blog. Masha’Allah you seem to have acclimated so well to UAE. I was only there for a while (circumstances and all that) and enjoyed my time but really missed home.
